How do I register for a course in Self-Service?

Instructions to Register for a course in Self-Service:

  1. Log into ‘CalSouthern Self-Service’ system:
  2. Click on 'My Progress'
  3. Click on the 'Course' that you want to register for from your degree plan
  4. Click on 'View Available Sections (course)'
  5. Scroll to the desired ‘Term’ date.
  6. Click on the ‘Add Section to Schedule’ for the desired section.
  7. Click ‘< Back to My Progress’ (on the upper-left side of the screen).
  8. Click ‘Student Planning’ at the top of the screen.
  9. Select ‘Plan and Schedule’ menu option.
  10. Using the < > arrow keys, find the month and term (for example, June 2021 Term).
  11. Click on the blue ‘Register Now’ button.

    Once you have successfully registered for your course, it will show as ‘Enrolled’ in the ‘Timeline’.
